EVER BILENA MATTE LIPSTICK IN MAUVEY REVIEW!!!

Welcome back, ladies!

Lipsticks are an absolute make up essential. I have been quite addicted to matte lipsticks recently since it gives the most natural finish. Aside from that, I am also addicted to drugstore lippies simply because the color pay-off is great and it is affordable as well. 

I recently tried the Ever Bilena Matte Lipstick. Ever Bilena is a Philippine brand that offers affordable drugstore make-up for Filipinos. I have never tried this brand before and I was just dying to try it because of different review in the internet. They had so many products, I didn't know what to choose. So, I just got the lipstick because it was recommended by several people. I got the lipstick at 155 PESOS (about 3 to 4 dollars) at the SM Megamall Department Store. I got it in the shade of Mauvey since other beauty bloggers were completely raving over the shade.

The shade is very natural. It looks like your natural lip color but enhanced! Over all, I liked the product and I would definitely buy the other shades as well. For 155 PESOS, it's not bad! Honestly, I was expecting more color. This color ain't my fave since it just looks like my natural lip color. But I shall try the other colors and review it here soon.

Moisture-wise, the lipstick wasn't very moisturizing since it's matte. Just apply a coat of lip balm (I use my cherry culture lip balm) to keep your lips moisturized. This definitely does the trick! Or you could also add some gloss to make it more moisturizing.So here's my over-all judgement of the product:

THE FINAL VERDICT: (1-lowest; 5-highest)

• Moisturizing: 2

• Color: 2

• Scent: 4

Will I buy it again? YES! But in a different shade! Off beat pink and Pink flame looks good. I really like pink shades for my lips. I initially wanted to try the shade SKIN but it was not nude enough for me :(

UPDATE: EVER BILENA has now released two new colors for their matte lipstick line! The two new shades are hot summer and autumn breeze. Those two are orange-y shades; both are very pretty!

ANOTHER UPDATE: I'm now using this lippie more since my lips have become paler than usual :) The color shows up better now since my lips have gone a bit pale.

Barbie on a Budget: Happy Lemon's Cocoa and Rocksalt and Cheese Recipe

Have you ever tried Happy Lemon's signature Rocksalt and Cheese line? They have three flavors for that line namely: Coffee, Cocoa and Green Tea! Today I'll be sharing a recipe so you won't have to spend lots of money on a drink that you could actually do at home. Enjoy!

Cheese Recipe Ingredients

1. Half a Bar of Cream Cheese or One half cup of the Cream Cheese Spread

1. One fourth cup of condensed milk (Condensada)

1. One third cup of Whipping Cream (WHIPPING CREAM IS NOT THE SAME AS ALL PURPOSE CREAM)

Cocoa Ingredients

1. 2 Tablespoons of Sweetened Cocoa Powder (I use the Ricoa brand for this)

1. 2 Tablespoons of white sugar

1. Fresh milk

To make the Cheese, simply mix the three ingredients. Use an electronic mixer to blend it well. If the cream cheese you are using is a bar type, put it in the microwave for at least 20 seconds to soften it for faster mixing.


To make the cocoa drink, Simply get a mug and put in the Cocoa Powder and Sugar. Put one third hot water to the mug then mix. Once it is mixed, add the fresh milk until the cup is semi-full (Semi-full because we still have to place the cheese on top). After the milk, mix again. You get the blended cheese and put it on top of your cocoa drink. Sprinkle some cocoa powder on top of the cheese for better presentation.


*If you feel that it is too sweet for you, you could lessen the white sugar or lessen the amount of Cocoa. Feel free to experiment!

HELLO WORLD!

 This is my first time to blog. HAHA. And I am excited about it. This blog is supposedly for our online store. I would review products (mostly make-up) that we are selling. I will give VERY honest opinions. Promise! Aside from that, I'd also post other reviews on different products in the market. 

I REALLY REALLY REALLY LIKE TRYING NEW THINGS SO YEAH :))

In short, I'll be blogging about my boring life and what I love and what I don't love. 

I'm actually a noob at this. I don't really know what all these buttons in the blogger website mean haha. Anyway, I'll learn all these so I can help you choose what's a good deal and what's so not!
